- Based on a 1960's US Army "Baker's Pant" model, but with a mix of other US military fatigue pant details such as the hanger loops that extend from the waistband and contrasting interior details inspired the M-51 cargo pants. The fabric is a light, tropical weight made in a sturdy rip stop construction. We've source genuine US grade military buttons made from melamine, which is a fire retardant material.
